Уважаемые коллеги!
Мы рады сообщить вам о регистрации на Всероссийскую онлайн-олимпиаду по английскому языку для школьников, которую мы уже в третий раз проводим совместно c Cambridge University Press.

Вы участвовали в наших предыдущих Олимпиадах, поэтому мы предположили, что вам будет интересно присоединиться к нам и в этот раз. Напоминаем, что принять участие в Олимпиаде могут учащиеся 5 – 11 классов.

People on the Earth have an endless variety of different types of appearance and character which can give us either pleasure or problems. I’ll tell you a little bit about some of them.

What is a Gap Year?

Introduction

A gap year is a year after finishing school and before going to college or University. It is also known as a sabbatical year. During this time students may engage in academic or non-academic courses, do volunteer work, travel or do some other activities like sports, arts, etc (Et cetera – лат.). I’ll tell you about some advantages and disadvantages of a gap year and give some examples of possible occupations during the year.

Sam: I'm enrolled at the London School of Business and Finance and I'm studying for a Masters in Business Administration part-time through distance learning. The great thing about this course is that it offers free access to study material, videos, lectures, panel discussion groups and student advisors that are available through a Facebook app. I thought I wouldn't be able to do it because I wouldn't have the time but this is the perfect solution for me because I can access the material anytime from my own home at the click of a mouse.

Brian: I'm studying with the Open University and it's fantastic. I can log on whenever I want and study at my own pace and all the resources I need are at my fingertips. I can email or chat online with a tutor anytime I need any help and I don't have to pay a fortune for books. I'm very happy with this method of learning.

Mary: I'm learning English with a tutor who comes to my house. It's great to study at home but the best part is that I get one-to-one attention. I don't have to sit in a large classroom and worry about not hearing or understanding the lesson. My tutor goes over everything with me as many times as I like and at my own pace. I actually think that I'm learning a lot faster than I would in a traditional classroom situation.

Из чего состоит тест?

• Тест включает в себя 7 частей, которые проверяют знание лексики и грамматики и навыки чтения на английском языке.

Что нужно сделать?

• Зарегистрироваться

• Ответить быстро и правильно на все вопросы теста

Важно!

• Сроки проведения конкурса – 15 февраля - 15 марта 2017 г..

• Регистрацию на сайте конкурса должен пройти ученик 7-9 классов и его учитель.

• Победители будут объявлены 22 марта 2017 г. на сайте www.cambridgeenglish.org.ru

• Электронные сертификаты об участии будут высланы после подведения итогов конкурса (после 22 марта).
