Дорогие ученики! Для каждого д/з я буду публиковать ответы (в конце сообщения). Для особенно находчивых сообщаю: сначала нужно сделать д/з самостоятельно, а потом открыть ответы, взять зеленую ручку и проверить.

Прошу всех каждый день писать в гостевой книге, какие задания вы уже выполнили. (Это поможет вам не откладывать всё на последнюю ночь, а делать постепенно)

Не забудьте прочитать объяснения pp.GR7-GR8 "MODULE 4. Modals"  (читаем до "Relative clauses"). Внимание! в учебнике опечатка: там написано GR6-GR7 - это неверно). Еще есть объяснения в WB p.78-79


Пояснения по наиболее сложной части:
Разница между could и was/were able to

could - я вообще умел что-то делать (I could read. I could write)

was/were able to - я смог что-то сделать в одной конкретной ситуации. (It was very difficult to buy tickets  for the football match, but I was able to get two.)

Во многих случаях можно использовать обе структуры. (I could read when I was 5. = I was able to read when I was 5.)
